It helps to include your device (for example “iPhone 13 Pro, iOS 26”) and the app version, which is shown at the bottom of the About screen. There is no account, so we cannot look you up — anything we need to know has to be in the message.

Reporting a wrong answer or a typo

Tell us the course, the subject, and the number after the # at the top right of the card (for example #214), and what you think is wrong. Corrections reach every device without an app update.

Where are Settings?

From the Library, tap the ⓘ button at the top right, then Settings.

I am not getting the evening reminder

The reminder arrives at 6 PM in your time zone, and only on days when a course you have started still has work waiting. If Settings → Evening reminder says notifications are blocked, turn them on in your phone’s Settings → Notifications → Bud Years.

I got a new phone. Will my progress come with me?

Your progress is stored on your device, not with us, so we cannot move it for you. It travels inside your ordinary iCloud Backup: restore the new iPhone from a backup of the old one and Bud Years picks up where you left off.

I use an iPhone and an iPad. Why is my progress different on each?

Each device keeps its own record — there is no account to join them up. Both are real practice, and nothing is lost; each simply shows the work done on it.

How do I start again?

Settings → Clear practice history removes every mark, your review queue and your progress figures on that device. It cannot be undone.

How do I switch off statistics or crash reports?

Both are in Settings → Privacy: Usage analytics and Crash reports. Usage analytics is off unless you have told us you are old enough, and every feature works the same with either switched off.

How do I delete my data?

Delete the app. Everything Bud Years knows about you is on your device and goes with it. Anonymous statistics already sent cannot be traced back to you, which is also why we cannot single them out; they expire on the schedule in the Privacy Policy.

Do I need an account or an internet connection?

No account, ever. You need a connection to download a course’s questions the first time; after that it works offline.
